IMPORTANT Do you want someone asking you if you are a commercial photographer when you are out hiking and taking photos on Forrest Service Land? And charge you up to $1500 if you don't comply and get a permit first?
"The draft would require commercial photographers, potentially broadcast and print media as well, to pay for a permit before taking pictures or video on wilderness land. Permits would cost up to $1,500, and fines for not getting a permit up to a $1,000. U.S. Forest Service supervisors would decide which reporters would be allowed access." ~ Matt Renoux, 9news.com
Yikes! Please feel free to share and go comment on the Draft Proposal linked below.
I don't usually do the b-day thing on here because it's pretty lame but what the heck. Happy Birthday, Rob L Woodson III! You are one of those rare people who are "real" and hell, I don't know, but I think I'd really like you IRL. Honesty - that's it. You're that guy Diogenes was looking for... Right ?
We are headed down to Panama City tomorrow for a little fun in the sun. On the way we are going to stop and pick up a little art work from the fabulous Ila East. I can finally add meeting Rocky to my bucket list.
