It's #rustysunday and while it might not be the most creative one I've done, I think it should look pretty familiar to Gary Posner. These barns are all over this area. I just hope that Rene Bechard likes the shot. RustySunday

Like Howdy

Like Howdy
I'm a recent transplant, living in Cookeville. Also, I recently rediscovered an interest in photography. I saw your picture at the City Lake waterfall and googled my way to your blog and YouTube stuff.
I can't figure out where exactly that little waterfall is. If you remember could you please throw me a clue. Also - since there is another big moon thing coming up, have you ever heard of a moonbow. If not, you might want to google Cumberland Falls. I'm going to try to make it there next month.
Anywho, Happy Hump Day and see round the circles. Theo

Reflections of Rust for #rustysunday RustySunday

Reflections of Rust for #rustysunday   RustySunday
I went out yesterday to find some rust. Three locations, eighty plus shots, fifty odd maybes and twenty eight keepers later I couldn't decide which
of the half dozen or so to clean up and post.
So I decided to sleep on it. You know how that works (sometimes) We take time to reflect on things and they become more clear...
So this morning I opened up the folder and - well, this was not one of the ones I had "seen" as "rusty" at all. And yet, there it was. All the time I was looking when I could have been seeing.

Ralph Brown Hey, that's a great shot.

Ralph Brown Hey, that's a great shot. I played around a little with it but I probably overdid it a bit. I didn't share your picture to  public, btw, Just played with it and sent it to you.

Hey there-

Hey there-
I recently and mistakenly uncircled you. Not by accident, just by mistake. It doesn't really matter why but I couldn't add you back when I realized I regretted it because I'd coincidentally reached my 5k limit.
Anyhow- since the two groups of people who irritate me the most are people who are passionate about things I disagree with and ones who are passionate about things I do agree with... (yeah, weird huh ?) I've got you back but in a somewhat quiet circle...
I'm only bringing this up because I will likely miss lots of your posts. I think you know me well enough to understand my interests. Feel free to tag me in posts or comments if you think I'd be interested. Also, of course feel free to participate in my threads on any subject.

NSA targets the privacy-conscious - everyone should use Tor now...

The XKeyscore source code contains both technical instructions and comments from the developers that provide an insight into the mind of the NSA. Thus, all users of such programs are equated with "extremists". Not only long-term users of this encryption software become targets for the NSA. Anyone who wants to visit the official Tor Web site simply for information is highlighted.goo.gl/OXtbXl

Why everyone should use Tor now?
Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against traffic analysis, a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security. Tor protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, and it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location. ➜ goo.gl/kVlfZT
