Help!

Help! I'll be in Nashville this weekend. I have a motel near the airport for Fri. night but I want to be closer to downtown for Sat. night. Does anybody have any ideas ? I'm thinking artsy or historic or trendy (but cheap). Maybe some place within crawling walking distance of some good drinking music center....
